About the practice principal

Michael is the principal of Optimise.

Michael has been working in financial services since the early 1990’s with such organisations as the Commonwealth Bank, GIO and AMP.

Michael has been a Certified Financial Planner since 2004, the same year that Optimise Wealth Management commenced operations.

Michael has broad experience in dealing with younger wealth creators, as well as pre-retirees and retirees.

Before moving into financial planning in the late 1990’s Michael spent a significant amount of time in lending services.

This combined lending and financial planning experience means that Michael, and Optimise, can provide comprehensive financial services across both traditional financial planning and mortgage lending, two services that generally operate separately.

The years spent in lending and financial planning also means that Michael has a keen understanding of the different life stages, from the early start up years to retirement.

Michael’s aim, and the aim of Optimise, is to provide professional tailored financial solutions to help people grow, protect, and enjoy their wealth.
